Primula allionii varieties - Alpine primulas give enormous delight. They are the earliest primula group often flowering from January. February and March is the main flowering period. Primula allionii and its varieties are the smallest. When in flower the entire cushion of foliage is hidden by stemless flowers. They need cold glasshouse or cold frame culture. Please note that the plants are coming out of 6cm pots; it is not the size of plant supplied which is of value, rather the variety. However, we will always send a plant which is of sufficent size to flower next February/March.
